Dlaczego język angielski jest taki inny, czyli dlaczego nie możemy zacząć zdania od samego czasownika w języku angielskim?

Dlaczego język angielski jest taki inny?

Hej Dziewczyny. Ja tak naprawdę robię teraz „coming out”: Jestem z wykształcenia i zamiłowania najpierw Lingwistką, a z musu Nauczycielką 😀 Co Wy na to?

Kocham Lingwistykę i każdy jej aspekt fascynuje mnie. Częściej niż chciałabym przyznać rozwodzę się nad Interferencją Fonetyczną na lekcjach ze słuchaczem niż jest to potrzebne.Taki folklor troszkę i quirk (kaprys, wybryk).

 

Dziś Wam chciałam przybliżyć i naświetlić kwestię związaną z typologią języka angielskiego.

Jeśli to poczytacie to powinnyście zrozumieć dlaczego ten język jest tak inny od naszego i innych europejskich języków (w zasadzie to jedyny taki europejski język… nie ma innych podobnych).

Zazwyczaj zaczynam od Historii Wielkiej Brytanii i od najazdów na nią po kolei. Dziś nie będzie jednak o tym. Jak chcecie to opowiem Wam o historii języka angielskiego innym razem. (Z wielką chęcią.)

Na początek, chcę żebyście sobie zdały sprawę z JEDNEJ I ABSOLUTNIE TYLKO JEDNEJ różnicy między polskim a językiem angielskim.

I miejcie proszę umysł otwarty:

Angielski to typ języka: podmiot+czasownik czyli osoba+ czynność NP.: „I drive a car” „Ja prowadzę auto.”

Polski to typ języka: czasownik+dopełnienie czyli czynność + dopełniene NP.: możemy powiedzieć po prostu: „Prowadzę auto.” bez „Ja” (podobnie jak w większości europejskich języków).

TO SĄ OBOWIĄZKOWE CZĘŚCI W ZDANIU I BEZ NICH NIE DA SIĘ POPRAWNEGO ZDANIA UŁOŻYĆ.

(O kurcze! Nie nastąpiło olśnienie? Wcale się nie dziwię, szczerze mówiąc.)

Podmiot? Co to a raczej kto to jest pomiot? To jest po prostu osoba – wykonawca czynności.

Dopełnienie? Co to lub kto to? To osoba, na której lub wobec czynność jest wykonywana czyli jej Obiekt. 

 

Jak wygląda język angielski w zdaniach?

Tom mówi do Betty, jest wykonawcą tej czynności.

Betty to dopełnienie, to osoba, do której Tom mówi.

Wiedząc to, jak możemy to wykorzystać w praktyce? To fajnie zadziała dla matematyków i analityków.

Jeśli jesteś jednym z takich ludzi, którzy analitycznie i logicznie podchodzą do życia i języka (lubisz matematykę?), warto pamiętać, żeby w języku angielskim zawsze mieć świadomość zdania, jego poczatku i końca, z czego jest zbudowane i jak możemy je zmieniać.

Bez tej wiedzy też oczywiście możemy spokojnie się uczyć angielskiego i używać go. Np. ucząć się utartych fraz i zdań, bez wnikania w to jak one są budowane. Naprawdę nie jest to potrzebne nam do sukcesu.

Co ty na to? Czy taki rodzaj tłumaczenia przemawia do Ciebie?

Oczywiście jest to tylko jedna perspektywa na typlogię języka angielskiego. Opowiem Wam kiedyś jeszcze o innych ciekawostkach 🙂
